John Sullivan and his “Orange Crush” Camaro are continuing right where they left off after the mishap that destroyed the “Orange Crush” original towards the end of 2012—that would be winning races. Sullivan and his team recently won at State Capitol Raceway and set Louisiana state record until X-drl race the following weekend.
Sullivan set his personal best elapsed time and mph in his first outing with Resolution Racing Service flowed fuel system and baseline tune up settings. Sullivan sped to a 3.80 @ 200.83 mph which qualified him in the #1 spot and ran low ET of eliminations with a 3.81 @ 200.66 mph.
Sullivan stated, “Jon really has been the most vital asset to our racing program ever. He answers the phone when you call and has the knowledge to get you going down the track. We feed him info and he makes proper assessments of it and we keep going in the proper direction. He helped us out tremendously with our roots blower set up and has proved the same with our screw set up. We have a ton left in this car and I know it will show soon. We just need the converter and gear package to match the Resolution fuel system. One run at a time is how we are approaching this car. Key point is we are smiling and having fun.”
